Bllaca

Municipality Suhareka

Bllaca is in the municipality of Suhareka. A historical document from 1348 mentions the settlement. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement under the form Bladci with 34 households and 8 unmarried men.

A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Bllaca. For 1998–99, the source documents killings by Serbian forces. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include pottery and tile fragments. The source records burning connected with a documented historical conflict. The source records migration of residents to Turkey.
