Zhubi

Municipality Gjakova

Zhubi is in the municipality of Gjakova. An Ottoman register from 1530 documents the settlement under the form Zhup with 8 households. A later register from 1591 documents the settlement with 15 households and 7 unmarried men.

The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Zhub. For 1998–99, the source documents burning by Serbian forces. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include building foundations.
