Verrishta (Lluga)

Municipality Istog

Verrishta (Lluga) is in the municipality of Istog. An Ottoman register from 1485 documents the settlement under the form Zhaleç with 29 households and 6 unmarried men. A historical document from 1775 mentions the settlement.

A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Zallqa. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include older burial grounds and building foundations.
