Aqareva

Municipality Skenderaj

Aqareva is in the municipality of Skenderaj. A historical document from 1330 mentions the settlement. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement with 107 households and 30 unmarried men.

A later register from 1566 documents the settlement with 41 households and 8 unmarried men. The register from 1893 documents the settlement. For 1998–99, the source documents an attack. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include older burial grounds. The source records migration of residents to Turkey.
