Senoc lies in the hilly and mountainous landscape of the Rahovec area. Its elevation is about 574 metres above sea level. Archaeological traces in the settlement area include roof tiles and bricks, pointing to earlier phases of habitation. The finds are associated with Roman periods.
Written records trace the settlement at least to 1766, with further references in 1893, 1896. Around 1879, the settlement formed part of the Bajrak of Palluzhës and had 23 households. In 1919, 3 people were killed during violence affecting the settlement.
During the 1998–1999 war, Serbian forces burned 70 homes in the settlement. 3 residents were killed during the war. Residents were forced to leave the village during the offensives.
