Municipality Rahovec

Retia is in the municipality of Rahovec. A historical document from 1198 mentions the settlement. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include pottery and tile fragments and older burial grounds.

Historical notes mention a church in the settlement area. Historical sources also record the settlement under the form Kovaçec. Historical sources also record the settlement under the form Hisari.
