Municipality Suhareka

Qershiza (Stravoçina) is in the municipality of Suhareka. An Ottoman register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Istravoçine. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include building foundations and older burial grounds.

Historical sources also record the settlement under the form Starasella.
