Pjetërshtica

Municipality Shtime

Pjetërshtica is in the municipality of Shtime. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement with 69 households and 10 unmarried men. A later register from 1566 documents the settlement with 15 households and 5 unmarried men.

The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Petroshticw. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include an inscription.
