Myzeçina

Municipality Shtime

Myzeçina is in the municipality of Shtime. An Ottoman register from 1566 documents the settlement with 3 households. A historical document from 1762 mentions the settlement.

A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Muzeçina. For 1998–99, the source documents an attack by Serbian forces. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include older burial grounds. The source records burning connected with a documented historical conflict.
