Mrasor lies about 24 km northwest of Rahovec. Its elevation is about 380 metres above sea level. Archaeological traces in the settlement area include old burial grounds, pointing to earlier phases of habitation.
Written records trace the settlement at least to 1591, with further references in 1893, 1894. A register from 1591 records 15 households. Around 1879, the settlement had 39 households. During the interwar period, 3 Slavic colonist or optant families were settled here.
During the 1998–1999 war, the settlement suffered burning and destruction by Serbian forces. Residents were forced to leave the village during the offensives.
