Moglica

Municipality Gjakova

Moglica is in the municipality of Gjakova. An Ottoman register from 1571 documents the settlement under the form Mogolec with 19 households and 15 unmarried men. A later register from 1574 documents the settlement.

A historical document from 1842 mentions the settlement. The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Muglica. The settlement changed location over time; its earlier site is known as Selishtë.
