Municipality Podujeva

Metehia is in the municipality of Podujeva. An Ottoman register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Vetohine. For 1998–99, the source documents burning by Serbian forces.

Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include building foundations. The study records the settlement of 7 families during the colonisation period. The source records migration of residents to Turkey.
