Krushja (Krysheva)

Municipality Dragash

Krushja (Krysheva) is in the municipality of Dragash. A historical document from 1348 mentions the settlement. An Ottoman register from 1451 documents the settlement under the form Krsheva.

A later register from 1530 documents the settlement with 40 households and 9 unmarried men. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include building foundations. The source records migration of residents to Turkey. The register documents the settlement.
