Municipality Podujeva

Kështjellasi (Popova) is in the municipality of Podujeva. An Ottoman register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Popova-i Bala. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include building foundations.

The source records migration of residents to Turkey. A later register documents the settlement with 19 households and 6 unmarried men.
