Municipality Podujeva

Kastrati (Obrança) is in the municipality of Podujeva. An Ottoman register from 1196 documents the settlement under the form Obrakxha. A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Obrakçe.

For 1998–99, the source documents destruction by Serbian forces and burning by Serbian forces. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include older burial grounds. The source records migration of residents to Turkey.
