Karaça

Municipality Vushtrri

Karaça is in the municipality of Vushtrri. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement with 25 households. A later register from 1530 documents the settlement under the form Karaça.

A historical document from 1777 mentions the settlement. The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Karaxhë. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include pottery and tile fragments.
