Municipality Gjilan

Idrizaj (Velekinca) is in the municipality of Gjilan. An historical document from 1342 documents the settlement under the form Moravë. An Ottoman register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Vulkiniqa.

For 1998–99, the source documents expulsion. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include a necropolis. The source records burning connected with a documented historical conflict. The source records migration of residents to Turkey.
