Grackë e Vjetër, treated in the volume as Graca (Gracka), lies about 4 km southwest of Lipjan and is a compact lowland settlement. Documented habitation in the area can be traced at least to the late 17th century. After 1864 Circassian families were settled here and later left for Turkey; after the expulsions of 1877–78, Albanian muhajir families arrived from the Leskovac area.
One of the darkest chapters in the village's history is associated with 1912. An archival source cited in the volume describes the burning of the settlement and the killing of dozens of Albanian residents, with around 46 victims recorded.
In 1999 the village had 12 Albanian houses and around 80 Serbian and Montenegrin houses. During the attacks three Albanian houses were burned and an elderly resident was killed.
