Gashaj (Shushica)

An Ottoman register from 1485 documents the settlement under the form Shushiça with 28 households and 5 unmarried men. A historical document from 1766 mentions the settlement. A historical document from 1861 mentions the settlement. A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Sushica-i Podgur. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include building foundations.
