Fushëmiri, also treated in the volume as Lladova, lies about 10 km south of Gjilan near the Morava River. Foundations, large bricks and other material found in its territory indicate early habitation; old burial grounds and traces of a church are also recorded.
A 1455 register lists the settlement as Vladova with 20 households, while the 1566–74 register records 26. After the expulsion of Albanians from the Sanjak of Niš in 1877–78, muhajir families also settled here. In 1915 the residents were forcibly displaced toward Allashec near Kumanovo.
During 1999 six people were killed, one remained missing, and houses and other buildings were burned. The population was forced to leave toward North Macedonia.
