Municipality Peja

Fierëza (Novosella) is in the municipality of Peja. An Ottoman register from 1485 documents the settlement with 30 households and 3 unmarried men. A later register from 1582 documents the settlement under the form Novosella.

The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Jeni. For 1998–99, the source documents burning by Serbian/Yugoslav police. The source records burning connected with a documented historical conflict.
