Drenusha (Dobrusha) is in the municipality of Istog. A historical document from 1332 mentions the settlement. A historical document from 1348 mentions the settlement.

An Ottoman register from 1571 documents the settlement under the form Dodbrish with 28 households and 2 unmarried men. A later register from 1582 documents the settlement. The register from 1591 documents the settlement with 18 households and 9 unmarried men.
