Municipality Kamenica
Dermaku (Shipashnica e Epërme) is in the municipality of Kamenica. An Ottoman register from 1453 documents the settlement. A later register from 1455 documents the settlement under the form Gorna Shipashnica.
The register from 1566 documents the settlement with 17 households. The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Shipashnica-i Bala.
