Denji
Municipality Rahovec
Denji is in the municipality of Rahovec. An Ottoman register from 1530 documents the settlement under the form Opterusha with 30 households and 10 unmarried men. A later register from 1591 documents the settlement under the form Opterusha with 43 households and 11 unmarried men.
The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Opterishë. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include older burial grounds. Historical sources also record the settlement under the form Hopterusha.
