Dardhishta (Bellopoja)

Municipality Podujeva

Dardhishta (Bellopoja) is in the municipality of Podujeva. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement with 32 households and 4 unmarried men. A later register from 1566 documents the settlement.

The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Bulupoja. For 1998–99, the source documents expulsion. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include building foundations. Historical notes mention a mosque in the settlement.
