Çifllak lies within the municipality of Rahovec. It is a compact settlement. Its elevation is about 340 metres above sea level. Near the left bank of the White Drin are remains of a broad Roman-period settlement, which archaeological research associates with a locally important centre.
Around 1879, the settlement had 19 households. During the interwar period, 20 Slavic colonist or optant families were settled here.
During the 1998–1999 war, Serbian forces burned 105 homes in the settlement. 5 residents were killed during the war. Residents were forced to leave the village during the offensives.
