Burimi (Burica) is in the municipality of Podujeva. An Ottoman register from 1487 documents the settlement under the form Burinca with 20 households and 4 unmarried men. An Ottoman register from 1530 documents the settlement under the form Burinçe.

An Ottoman register from 1896 documents the settlement under the form Burinçe. The evidence includes building foundations, pointing to earlier habitation. The study records the settlement of 4 families during the colonisation period. The source records burning connected with a documented historical conflict.
