Brestosi (Brestoci) is in the municipality of Rahovec. A historical document from 1397 mentions the settlement. An Ottoman register from 1485 documents the settlement.

A historical document from 1598 mentions the settlement. A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Brestofc. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include older burial grounds. A historical document mentions the settlement.
