Blinishti (Lipoveci) is in the municipality of Gjakova. A historical document from 1348 mentions the settlement under the form Lipovci. An Ottoman register from 1591 documents the settlement with 7 households and 1 unmarried man.

A historical document from 1725 mentions the settlement. A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Lipofc. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include pottery and tile fragments.
