Baraina

Municipality Podujeva

Baraina is in the municipality of Podujeva. An Ottoman register from 1530 documents the settlement under the form Buranye. A later register from 1566 documents the settlement under the form Brajna with 39 households and 17 unmarried men.

The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Beraiye.
