Ballsi (Balloci) is in the municipality of Podujeva. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement under the form Balin Potok with 16 households and 2 unmarried men. An Ottoman register from 1566 documents the settlement with 24 households and 10 unmarried men.

An Ottoman register from 1893 documents the settlement. For 1998–99, the source documents burning. The evidence includes fortification remains, pointing to earlier habitation. Historical sources also record the settlement under the form Ballovce.
