Bajçina is in the municipality of Podujeva. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement under the form Baçino with 20 households and 11 unmarried men. A later register from 1566 documents the settlement under the form Baçina with 31 households and 10 unmarried men.
The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Bajiçe.
