Arbnori (Rusinofci), corresponding today to the official identity Resinoc, lies in the Drenica region about 24 km west of Lipjan. Bricks and roof tiles found at Arat e Mëdha, on the western side of the settlement, point to an earlier layer of habitation.
A register from 1455 records 20 households, while the 1566–74 register lists 11. Kosovo Vilayet yearbooks from 1893, 1896 and 1900 preserve the form Resinofc. After 1878, muhajir families expelled from the Sanjak of Niš also settled in the area, although some later moved to other villages.
In 1998 the village had 82 houses and 823 Albanian residents. During the offensives of August–September 1998 and spring 1999, 56 houses and many auxiliary buildings were destroyed, burned or shelled.
