Stone Bridge of Prizren

A symbol of the old city

Stone Bridge crosses the Lumbardhi in Prizren’s historic centre and links Shatërvan with Saraçhana. The cultural-heritage record describes it as a protected monument and one of the city’s strongest visual symbols.

Part of a walk, not an isolated stop

Use the bridge to move between the riverbanks, then continue through Shatërvan, towards the fortress or along the old streets. Its value comes from that urban setting: river, square, mosques, houses and hillside views all meet here.

Look after the shared setting

The bridge is a pedestrian landmark in a busy public area. Give it time early or later in the day, keep clear of local movement and treat the river corridor as a living part of Prizren rather than a photo backdrop.
