Radoniqi Lake is an artificially created lake situated in the municipality of Gjakova. Lake has an area of 5.96 km2, which makes it is the second biggest lake in Kosova.
It was created during the 80-s and was named “Radoniqi” because of the town which used to be in the location where the lake was created. This lake is used as a drinking water source for a major part of Gjakova territory, hence swimming there is not allowed.
However, its crystal clear water combined with the amazing surrounding landscape make it an ideal spot for someone who wants to relax and enjoy the beauties of the nature.
