Vogaçicë, treated in the volume as Vukagjini (Vogoçica), lies about 17 km east of Lipjan, in the Zhegoc mountains and the valley of the Akllap River. House foundations have been found at Lugu i Gjokës, while extensive slag remains show that ore was once extracted and smelted in the area.
A deed from Akllap issued in Janjevë in 1749 mentions the name Vukagjin. Late-19th-century yearbooks record the settlement within the same naming tradition. After the expulsions of 1878, Albanian muhajirs from the Sanjak of Niš also lived here; the 20th century brought migration to Turkey, Janjevë, Lipjan and Prishtina.
In 1999 only four houses with around 20 Albanian residents remained in the village, and they later left. During the war, more than 20,000 refugees from Akllap, Sllovi, Teqe and other villages sheltered for a period at Livadhi i Gatë.
