Turjaka

Municipality Malisheva

Turjaka is in the municipality of Malisheva. An Ottoman register from 1591 documents the settlement with 20 households and 8 unmarried men. A historical document from 1774 mentions the settlement.

A later register from 1893 documents the settlement. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include pottery and tile fragments, building foundations, and fortification remains.
