Terstena

Municipality Mitrovica

Terstena is in the municipality of Mitrovica. An Ottoman register from 1566 documents the settlement with 20 households and 7 unmarried men. A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Tërshtinë.

For 1998–99, the source documents burning. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include older burial grounds, building foundations, and an inscription.
