Tërbufc, treated in the volume as Malishta (Tërboci), lies about 16 km east of Lipjan, in a valley. Pottery and carved stones survive at Kodra e Kishës; local tradition remembers a large church that once stood on the hill.
After the expulsion of Albanians from the Sanjak of Niš in 1877–78, an Albanian muhajir family settled at the locality and later emigrated to Turkey. Because of its small size, the settlement was administratively treated at different times as a neighbourhood of Sllovi and Akllap before being recorded separately.
In 1999 Tërbufc had six houses and around 94 Albanian residents. During attacks by Serbian police and paramilitary forces, an 18-year-old girl was killed and two people were wounded. A four-member family from Zhegoc was also killed at the Livadhet e Gjona locality.
