Sojeva

Municipality Ferizaj

Sojeva is in the municipality of Ferizaj. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement under the form Sivojeva with 72 households and 5 unmarried men. A historical document from 1477 mentions the settlement under the form Sojevë.

A later register from 1566 documents the settlement. For 1998–99, the source documents killings by Serbian/Yugoslav police. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include building foundations.
