Soçanica

Municipality Leposaviq

Soçanica is in the municipality of Leposaviq. A historical document from 1315 mentions the settlement under the form Selçanica. An Ottoman register from 1604 documents the settlement.

A later register from 1900 documents the settlement under the form Hoqanicë. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include pottery and tile fragments.
