Rubofc, treated in the volume as Fushëloti (Rubovci), lies about 6–7 km south of Lipjan and is a compact lowland settlement. Old burial grounds, human remains, metal objects and house foundations have been uncovered in its territory; local tradition also preserves the memory of an old church in the area.
The settlement appears in medieval documentation and in the memorial book of the Monastery of the Holy Trinity from 1465. An Austrian map based on information from 1689 records a form of the name K(R)upovce, while 18th-century Deviç records provide further references.
In 1999 the village had 56 Albanian houses with around 550 residents and 42 Serbian houses. According to the volume, the population remained in the village during the war; after the war two Serbian houses were burned.
