Rrzhana

Municipality Mitrovica

Rrzhana is in the municipality of Mitrovica. An Ottoman register from 1715 documents the settlement. A later register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Irxhana.

For 1998–99, the source documents an attack by Serbian forces. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include building foundations. A historical document mentions the settlement. The source records burning connected with a documented historical conflict. Historical sources also record the settlement under the form Qytet.
