Rrezana (Strana) is in the municipality of Mitrovica. An Ottoman register from 1455 documents the settlement under the form Istrana with 10 households. A later register from 1604 documents the settlement under the form Strana.

The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Istrata. The source records burning connected with a documented historical conflict.
