Municipality Prizren

Romaja is in the municipality of Prizren. An Ottoman register from 1530 documents the settlement under the form Ramanova. A later register from 1571 documents the settlement with 21 households and 11 unmarried men.

The register from 1591 documents the settlement with 14 households and 2 unmarried men. The register from 1893 documents the settlement. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include a necropolis and older burial grounds.
