Qellapek, whose body heading in the volume is Çellopeku, lies about 4 km southeast of Lipjan and is mainly a compact lowland settlement. Pottery, vessels, stone foundations, roofing material and other traces of habitation have been found in its territory. Old burial grounds also survive near the entrance to the village, although their precise historical attribution is not established.
In 1924 four colonist families were settled in the western part of the settlement. One family emigrated to Ankara in 1938, while later decades brought further population movement.
In 1999 Qellapek had around 40 houses and approximately 400 Albanian residents. According to the volume, the village escaped destruction during the last war and its population did not leave the settlement.
