Puset e Nikës (Pusteniku)

Municipality Kacanik

Puset e Nikës (Pusteniku) is in the municipality of Kacanik. An Ottoman register from 1452 documents the settlement with 50 households and 5 unmarried men. A later register from 1468 documents the settlement with 58 households.

The register from 1893 documents the settlement under the form Postanik. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include older burial grounds. Historical notes mention a church in the settlement area. Historical sources also record the settlement under the form Bustenik.
