Orlloviq lies about 3 km west of Prishtina. It is described as a compact settlement.
The source notes archaeological traces linking the locality with early phases of habitation. In written records, the source traces the settlement at least to 1991. For the period between the two world wars, the source also documents the settlement of Serbian or Montenegrin colonist families.
For 1998–1999, the source documents the burning, destruction or damage of homes and other property, the killing of residents.
