Okosnicë, treated in the volume as Dalmati (Kosnica), lies about 16 km northeast of Lipjan and is a dispersed hill-and-mountain settlement. At Vojisllovec, west of the village, the foundations of an old church or monastery were still visible until relatively recently; the area is also associated with ore extraction and processing from earlier periods.
The settlement's history includes different communities and repeated population movement. After 1912 an Albanian family left the village, while in 1926 another family arrived from Brus and later moved to Croatia.
In 1998 only four houses remained in the settlement. By autumn 2000, according to the field data used in the volume, only one Croatian family was still living there.
