Municipality Prizren

Milaj is in the municipality of Prizren. A historical document from 1355 mentions the settlement under the form Milishta. An Ottoman register from 1571 documents the settlement under the form Milishta with 23 households and 9 unmarried men.

A later register from 1591 documents the settlement with 22 households and 6 unmarried men. For 1998–99, the source documents expulsion. Archaeological traces mentioned in the study include pottery and tile fragments.
